Wish you had someone to help you prepare your DAAD grant application? Now you can be that someone to a young US or Canadian scholar who wants to apply for DAAD funding.
As a DAAD alum, you know better than anyone just what it takes to qualify for DAAD funding - a convincing statement of purpose, sparkling recommendations, etc, etc...
If you're willing to be contacted by a DAAD applicant looking for advice on preparing an application, please send an email to alumni@daad.org with the subject line "Alumni Applicant Adviser". Please include the name and year of the grant you had, as well as the academic field you were in at the time of your grant. If an applicant contacts DAAD requesting advise from DAAD alumni, we will match the applicant with an alumni volunteer who had the same grant and was in a similar academic field.
