This website is created for American and Canadian DAAD alumni, and DAAD alumni currently living in the US and Canada. It features a searchable membership directory putting you in contact with fellow alumni in North America. It also lists upcoming alumni events, information about regional alumni groups in North America, and other activities and opportunities for you to get involved with.
Some of this site's pages that provide general information about DAAD alumni activities and services in North America are accessible to the general public. However, a number of prime features (including the alumni directory, bulletin board, regional listservs, and the ability to view posted jobs and housing) are available only to DAAD alumni in the USA and Canada who have a username and password for the website. New Members If you're visiting this site for the first time (and you haven't already received a username and password in an email from DAAD New York), click the "New Users" link on the upper left of this page. You'll be asked to provide some information about yourself and your DAAD grant so we can verify your alumni status.

Alumni Directory: Log in to the site and use the Alumni Directory to locate and contact fellow former DAAD grantees from the USA and Canada (or foreign grantees currently living here), immediately update your address, employment, and other information on file with DAAD, and post a photo of yourself or your family. Job Posting and Searching: Search for jobs posted by other DAAD alumni employers and/or other peer institutions, or post your company’s job opportunities. Alumni Events Calendar: There are active Regional Alumni Network Groups all across the USA and Canada. Find out what they're up to, and check out the events that DAAD itself organizes for its alumni. Opportunities to Get Involved: An alumni network is nothing without engagement and input from its members! Find out how to organize an alumni event near you, spread the word about DAAD, or welcome a German grantee who's studying at a university near you. Other Ways to Give Back: The DAAD Alumni Association of the USA awards scholarships enabling American students to study in Germany.
